Fandom Gives Back: BD1

It's the most wonderful time of the year.... **skips happily thinking about seeing Breaking Dawn tomorrow night**

Anyways, this blog post is written to remind you to donate to the Fandom Gives Back Alex's Lemonade Stand in order to receive a compilation chock filled with stories, outtakes and original fiction by over 80 authors.

Unfortunately this year the promotion of FGB has kinda fell by the wayside, so if you can take two minutes and tweet, FB and blog about FGB, I'm sure it would be much appreciated. They have a small goal, just $15k, which is tiny compared to the over $200k they have raised in the past auctions. Support the fandom and Alex's Lemonade.

 I have my entry ready to go, the first chapter of a new story that I plan to start posting in the new year. It made my beta excited, so I hope you like it too. Here's a little teaser for you:
 
“Mind if I join you?” he asked, his English accent clear as day, as my heart skipped a beat. “

Sure, I guess,” I replied like the fool I felt I was. I literally held my breath as he sat down beside me and I only exhaled when I saw him. He was so very handsome, it almost took my breath away. With his dark green eyes, unruly hair and defined features, I daresay he is the most beautiful man I’ve ever seen. 

“I’m Bella.” 

“I know,” he replied cryptically. “We have Global Communications together.” I’m taken aback at how I could have missed him in a class with me but then I remembered how the class has over 100 students and is held in a huge lecture hall. It’s easy to understand how we could have missed each other. Except he didn’t miss me, did he? 

“Are you a third year too?” 

“No, but when I transferred I needed a few extra courses to be able to graduate in the spring. I’m technically in my fourth year.” 

“Oh.” 

“I’m Edward Masen,” he declared firmly and I smile as his accent rolls the ‘r’ in his name, which caused him to blush. He’s adorable, even though he’s a little stiff, but he’s British, so I wouldn’t hold that against him. 

“So Edward Masen, why are you sitting out here on the porch with me while there is a wild party going on inside?” I asked, curious as to why I have a visitor all of a sudden. Not that I was complaining. He was definitely better than Alice gushing over the new guy or Emmett pressuring me to enjoy myself. 

“College parties aren’t really my scene, I suppose.” 

“You’re a boy of college age, who attends the UDub, but parties aren’t your scene? Are you feeling aright?” 

“Never better."

Fandom Gives Back Auctions

Hi All! I know, I have been AWOL recently. Feel free to place the blame squarely on the shoulders of the ear infection and cold I have been battling. I'm almost 100% though, so that should make us all happy, right?

Anywhoo, I just wanted to give everyone a quick heads up that I have posted my auction items on the Fandom Gives Back auction site.

I'm offering up 3 original one shots or outtakes from any of my stories for $25 a piece, not including MIFFY, A Beautiful Mess or Room 15. You can find the link to that auction here.

I'm also offering up chapters of the FINALLY expanded Room 15. I'm offering up 30 chapters, $20 a piece, with the chapters to be posted on fanfiction.net after delivery to the purchaser. More information on the auction link here.

Fandom Gives Back Author Auction

So I'm apparently glutton for punishment because I signed myself up the Fandom Gives Back Author Auction. My Partner in Smut, flightlessbird11, has also volunteered her banner making services in the auction, so if you are interested in either of us, don't forget to check it out the week of November 15th-20th.

I'm offering up 3 one-shots, either outtakes from any of my stories, or a brand spanking new one of your own imagination. Are you upset Edward & Bella never made it to the Love Parade in Berlin or hoped that there was more info on their wedding in Love Will Come Through... bring it on. I'm open to almost anything, although I do get easily squicked out by E & Jazz or E & Em. Can't bring myself to write the male on male buttsecks. Sorry Ladies! The one-shots have to be between 2,500-7,500 words, but I may make an exception based on the request.
